This is a one-day intensive laparoscopic colectomy course designed for general and colorectal surgeons who wish to gain practical experience in laparoscopic colorectal techniques.

The course will consist of lectures and video presentations followed by a hands-on cadaver laboratory, during which time participants will perform:

  • Laparoscopic right colectomy
  • Hand-assisted laparoscopic left colectomy
  • Proctectomy

Faculty for the course will include leaders in the field of laparoscopic colorectal surgery, who will discuss and demonstrate their techniques and provide close supervision during the cadaver session.
